The Cleaning Process

We perform the area rug cleaning in the following steps:

Pre-Vacuuming

First, we remove any loose dirt from the rug. This is done by vacuuming both sides of the area rug thoroughly. We do not neglect the rear since it gets polluted with crumbs, dust, and filth more quickly. Then, we apply the cleaner on a small patch for the colorfastness test.

Steam Cleaning

We expose the rugs to hot steamed water. This helps to loosen the dust and soften the stains. The temperature and pressure of the steam are adjusted according to the weaving and material of the rug.

Shampooing

We apply the shampoo on the rug with a sponge or brush to create a soft foam. Then, we allow the cleanser to soak into the rug for a few minutes. This time is required for it to do the action, loosen the dust and staining particles, and make the rug clean before rinsing.

Rinsing

Before we finish cleaning, we thoroughly rinse the rug with a garden hose, making sure the water is free of soap foam. The pressure of water draws out all the loose dust and stains making the rugs clean.

Water Extraction

We use a special rug squeegee for water extraction. This tool works perfectly to wipe off excess water from the rug. We press the rubber-edged blade of the squeegee firmly into the rug and pull to extract as much liquid as possible, working just in the direction of the rug's nap.

Drying

We allow both sides of the rug to dry out completely in hot dry air. For that, we lay it flat in the drying area. Later, our workers flip it over once the top side has dried to allow the bottom to dry as well.

Post-Brushing

We vacuum or brush your area rug with a clean soft-bristled brush to loosen up the fibers that may have compressed during the washing/drying process. This leaves the rug plush and fluffy.
